Life is a battleground – this is a passage about spiritual warfare. It’s good for us to remember that King Jesus has come, he has brought a kingdom, he has defeated Satan so he can no longer deceive the nations. He cannot stop Christ’s church. The gates of hell cannot prevail against God’s church.
