New Here? Here’s What to Expect
Welcome to Texarkana Reformed Baptist Church! Whether you are new to Texarkana or plan to visit us in the future, we’re glad you’re here. We are a community of believers who have been saved by God’s grace and are here to freely share God’s love, mercy and grace with others. We desire to see people’s lives transformed and God’s kingdom expand.
Christ Centered Worship
We hold to the Regulative Principle of Worship which means that our worship services only include elements that are found in scripture as true worship. We have singing, praying, scripture reading and preaching each week in our services.
Gospel-Centered Missions and Evangelism
We are a Great Commission church that takes the good news about Christ to Texarkana, and through missionaries we support, to the ends of the earth.
Sunday School and Nursery
We have a Sunday School class for every age and Nursery for babies up to 4 years old. We also have a cry room off the main sanctuary for nursing mothers and their babies.
A Confessional Approach
The Bible is the Word of God, and our only certain and infallible rule for faith and practice. We hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a clear and accurate interpretation of the Bible doctrines which it addresses.
Expository preaching involves the exposition, or comprehensive explanation, of the Scripture; that is, expository preaching presents the meaning and intent of a biblical text, providing commentary and examples to make the passage clear and understandable. The word exposition is related to the word expose—the expository preacher’s goal is simply to expose the meaning of the Bible, verse by verse.
We privately partake of the Lord’s Supper among the members of this local body. (This practice does not speak at all to the status of any non-member’s salvation)
Wednesday Devotional/Prayer Meetings
Each Wednesday (excepting the 3rd of the month) we gather for a large group devotional and then into prayer groups.
Every third Wednesday evening, we gather in small group settings: at least one at the church and at least one in a home.
Giving & Offerings
Regular giving is to be placed in the offering box in the book room. We also have the option of online giving. The offering plate is passed the second Sunday of the month from January through September for Benevolent work. During October through December, the plate is passed weekly for our Missions offering.

To preach the Gospel to all mankind, disciple new believers, and equip them in the doctrines of the church from a reformed perspective.
We believe that the totality of the Bible is inspired by God and is, therefore sufficient, inerrant and infallible. Because the Bible is God’s word, we strive to be Biblical in everything we do and teach.
We believe that Jesus Christ is central to the Biblical story and that all of the major themes of Scripture may only be understood properly in relation to him.
We are excited to welcome you to TRBC!
